Position Overview/Summary:
Navy Nuclear Product engineers are responsible for contract satisfaction, design, service and manufacturing support for all products related to steam turbines used in shipboard applications and in safety related nuclear emergency feed water services.
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

US Citizenship
* Minimum Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* 5 years experience in rotating machinery, steam turbine or related machinery design, analysis, product, service or manufacturing engineering
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a supervisor in a technical field
* Able and willing to travel minimum of 5% of the time
* Candidate must be willing to work beyond a typical 40 hour week

Must have the ability to acquire a US Government security clearance.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
* Strong communication skills, analytical skills, design skills and problem solving skills are key assets for success in this job
* The candidate must be able to work in a Team environment
* The focus of this position will be Advanced Steam Turbine product development and design for military applications
* The candidate will be expected to join an active product development team and quickly ramp into value added participation with a minimum of training
* Additional responsibilities include resolution of product non-conformances reported for both manufactured and purchased items, technical support of turbine overhauls and supervision of design team members on specific projects
* The candidate will be expected to participate and demonstrate leadership in Project meetings with the design team and Program meetings with the customer (shipyards and the Navy)
