Position Overview/Summary:
The Engineered Solutions group is looking for an individual to proactively pursue steam turbine opportunities. The Application Engineer will be in direct contact with the customer and as such, will be responsible for receiving inquires, interpreting their meaning, and generating the necessary thermal to determine feasibility. Proposals will be developed from this information, including pricing for specific parts and components and associated labor. Travel will occur 25% of the time and will include customer visits, presentations, and general sales calls. This individual will work in a fast paced, dynamic environment where the Application Engineer is involved with the engineering, design, and manufacturing of a solution.
This position is located in Wellsville, NY.
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):
Required:

US Citizenship
*
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering
*
Minimum 5 years experience in applying rotating machinery
*
Must have comprehensive understanding of thermal dynamics, blade design/blade selection with steam turbines, gas turbines or expanders
*
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and will include customer visits, presentations, and general sales calls.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:

Equipment / Software Knowledge: CAD drawing skills. Unigraphics is preferred. Other Required Skills: Excellent verbal and writing skills of the English language

Strong presentation skills a plus
*
Travelling to include customer visits, presentations, and general sales call (UP to 25% )
