Position Overview/Summary:
This position is an account manager type position, with a focus on industrial gas turbine (IGT) sales (parts, repair, and field service) to assigned regional accounts. IGT sales (parts, repair and field service) to assigned regional accounts.
Account Manager-Leading Edge Turbine Technology Services (LETTS)
Position has a dual reporting relationship:
1) To the D-R Regional Director / Branch Manager
2) To the Leading Edge Sales Manager.
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):
Required:
* Established and loyal IGT customer following providing immediate business results
* Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
* 5 years minimum experience with IGT component and rotor repairs
* Comprehensive technical capability in industrial gas turbine operations, maintenance, and component & rotor repairs
* Organized, highly motivated, and self-directed
* Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products
* Ability to work in and achieve goals within a “matrix structured organization”
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
* Achieve IGT bookings targets
* Established and loyal IGT customer following providing immediate business results
* Complete ownership of assigned power generation accounts within the region
* Account penetration strategies
* Sales calls
* Technical support during execution
* Communicate and maintain high visibility of D-R’s IGT initiative / capability to the regional team
* Generate and maintain account plans
* Travel at least 70% within territory/region
