Position Overview/Summary:
Provide on site technical assistance to Customers during installation/commissioning and maintenance of Dresser-Rand Steam Turbines.
Position Location:
Prefer successful candidate to be located in close proximity to our Service Centers (listed below) but will consider candidates located nearby major airports.

Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):
Required:
* Legal authorization to work in the US for anyone other than your current employer
* A minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook
* Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel
* A minimum of 3 years experience in a petrochemical environment
* The ability to diagnose electrical/mechanical problems quickly on running or operating machinery
* The willingness and ability to travel with short notice for up to 90% of the time
* The willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours
Preferred:
* A minimum of an Associate's degree in an engineering discipline
* The ability to read, write and speak the Spanish language
* Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Project
* Natural leadership and communicative skills
* Service mentality with a certain commercial sense
* Ability to assist with equipment inspections in Repair Centers, depending on the workload
* The willingness and ability to work in remote, possibly international locations, for possible extended periods of 60 days or more
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
*
Ensure that customer installs, commissions, operates and maintains Dresser-Rand supplied equipment in accordance with OEM specifications
* Provide technical assistance and consultation to customer's installation, operations and maintenance personnel
* Maintain comprehensive Customer Activity Reports for Customer daily inspection
* Provide detailed Site Reports, highlighting actions needed by other Dresser-Rand departments
* Provide Action Requests for Field Service Managers and manufacturing plant field engineering groups
* Develop equipment installation, maintenance and overhaul schedules with customer input
* Observe on-site health and safety at work procedures
