Position Overview/Summary:
The CNC Machinist will perform all kinds of milling, cutting, drilling, turning, taping, sawing, and grinding using machining equipment. This position is located in our Leading Edge Facility located on the North side of Houston near IAH airport. Relocation benefits are not offered for this role.
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

Must have excellent mathematical skills
* Strong background in general machining.
* 5 years relevant experience programming and operating CNC lathes and mills
* College level educaton would be a definite asset
* CAD/CAM (Fanuc control, Solid Works software) experience would be a definite asset
* Must be able to do your own program and set-ups, read blueprints and be self motivated
* Must have good communication skills, and be able to work independently
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
* Manufactures 2D/3D tooling and protoype components as directed by blueprint or instructions using CNC equipment
* Verify that tooling and prototype components are to blueprint specifications
* Design fixture and tool for machining needed
* Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
* Must be able to work overtime when required.
