Position Overview/Summary:

The Service Center Mechanic III is responsible for the disassembly, inspection, recording of as found conditions, under close supervision of lead-man or senior repair mechanic, repairs and reassembly of D-R and Non Nameplate reciprocating and rotating compressors. The incumbent will work as part of a team with supervision to ensure that all projects are completed safely, correctly and meet or beat customer’s expectations. The Service Center Mechanic will follow and promote all safety and quality directives in support of Dresser-Rand's commitment to being the industries Premier Service Provider to our clients.
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

Required:
* 
High school diploma or equivalent
* 
Minimum 5 years related experience 
* 
Familiarization with most common precision measurement instruments, will train on others
* 
Ability to read and understand simple equipment drawings and publications with supervision
* 
Willingness and ability to work extended hours including weekends and holidays as required
* 
Strong familiarization with all common industry safety practices and procedures
* 
Must have ability to routinely lift at least 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
* 
Must have ability to periodically lift at least 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations

Preferred:

* 
Familiarization with D-R and Non-nameplate rotating and reciprocating equipment
* 
Basic computer and software skills. (MS Word and Excel)
Position Responsibilities and Duties:

* 
Posses basic solving skills. Fact gathering, analyzing and developing a solution, familiar with different types of hand tools, electric and pneumatic tools e.g. drill, grinders, impact wrenches, saws and nail guns.
* 
The use of all proper PPE while utilizing all tooling and machinery required in all phases of the inspection and repair of equipment
* 
Be a quick learner, be able to take direction and posses mechanical learning skills
* 
The learning of materials, metals, coatings, Dresser-Rand parts in the repair process of machinery

Position Overview/Summary:

The Field Mechanic directly contributes and supports Field Operations through the inspection and repair of used and repaired components.
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

Required:
* High School diploma or GED or equivalent
* 5+ years disassembly and re-assembly of steam turbines, centrifugal compressor(s), or reciprocating compressor(s) components experience required.
* Knowledge in the disassembly and re-assembly of steam turbines, centrifugal compressor(s), or reciprocating compressor(s) components.
* Possession of TWIC card.
* Ability to travel 90% of the time domestically, many times on short notice.
* Knowledge and ability to use standard inspection and measurement instruments and prepare factual reports and/or sketches of work performed.
* Knowledge of blueprint/blueprint reading and general tolerances is required. Must be able to solve assembly and set-up problems with minimal technical supervision.
* Must provide personal tooling and measuring instruments for general machine shop use.
* Possess effective communication and problem-solving skills.
* Computer literate and familiarity with: MS Office, MS Project and Outlook.


Position Responsibilities and Duties:

Accurate recording of all as repaired dimensional data.
* 
Assist leadman with proper and safe repair of DR equipment.
* 
Directly impact the field operations business through providing client billable man-hours in the field.

Position Overview/Summary:

The Project Manager will manage multiple Field Service assignments on new installations and overhauls of compressor and turbine projects.  The Project Manager will work closely with regional and branch managers to successfully manage projects. Project manager will be responsible for developing proposals traveling to site and managing projects.

Standard responsibilities: Create a safe and worker friendly work environment Act as a single point of contact with clients. Complete all the required safety training before the deadline

Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

* 
(5) plus years of work experience in field services for rotating equipment (steam/gas turbines, compressors, valves or other heavy rotary machinery).
* High proficiency with the MS Office package including MS Project Travel to customer sites to support sales and manage projects is required.
* 
Client facing skills.
* 
Self motivated, able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
* 
Manage up to four (4) field service projects.
* 
Strong analysis and creation of technical drawings.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

* 

Correctly manage field service project time, cost and resource constraints from the time of opportunity identification to the time of final invoicing and project closure.
* 
Conduct a daily Behavior Based Safety Audit and report any safety concerns observed Develop solutions according to clients’ requirements.
* 
Provide on-site supervision of equipment installations, and overhauls as needed.
* Complete ownership of Services projects (financial/ schedule.
* 
Prepare quotations and proposals for various mechanical projects.
* 
Negotiate with clients on projects in regards to scope and pricing.
* 
Develop project manpower requirements and tooling requirements.
* 
Develop Project Books to support field crews during overhauls and new installations.
* 
Track and manage project costs and margins. Communicate with client during projects, relative to costs and job progress.
* 
Manage other project related costs including living expenses, accommodations, transportation, and consumable, etc.
* 
Collect project daily report information, assessments, repair reports from Service Center, and Field Service Representatives were applicable.
* 
Conduct Root Cause Analysis and identify corrective and preventative actions on clients’ complaints and non-conformances.
* 
Present final job report to client in a professional manner.
