Position Overview/Summary:
The Project Manager will manage multiple Field Service assignments on new installations and overhauls of compressor and turbine projects. The Project Manager will work closely with regional and branch managers to successfully manage projects. Project manager will be responsible for developing proposals traveling to site and managing projects.
Standard responsibilities: Create a safe and worker friendly work environment Act as a single point of contact with clients. Complete all the required safety training before the deadline
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

(5) plus years of work experience in field services for rotating equipment (steam/gas turbines, compressors, valves or other heavy rotary machinery).
* High proficiency with the MS Office package including MS Project Travel to customer sites to support sales and manage projects is required.
*
Client facing skills.
*
Self motivated, able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
*
Manage up to four (4) field service projects.
*
Strong analysis and creation of technical drawings.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
*
Correctly manage field service project time, cost and resource constraints from the time of opportunity identification to the time of final invoicing and project closure.
*
Conduct a daily Behavior Based Safety Audit and report any safety concerns observed Develop solutions according to clients’ requirements.
*
Provide on-site supervision of equipment installations, and overhauls as needed.
* Complete ownership of Services projects (financial/ schedule.
*
Prepare quotations and proposals for various mechanical projects.
*
Negotiate with clients on projects in regards to scope and pricing.
*
Develop project manpower requirements and tooling requirements.
*
Develop Project Books to support field crews during overhauls and new installations.
*
Track and manage project costs and margins. Communicate with client during projects, relative to costs and job progress.
*
Manage other project related costs including living expenses, accommodations, transportation, and consumable, etc.
*
Collect project daily report information, assessments, repair reports from Service Center, and Field Service Representatives were applicable.
*
Conduct Root Cause Analysis and identify corrective and preventative actions on clients’ complaints and non-conformances.
*
Present final job report to client in a professional manner. Arrange for post job meetings with client.
