This job brings value to Dresser-Rand by providing a central focus for growth, adding pull through business to other Dresser-Rand entities, accurately forecasting bookings and sales and adding revenue to OI to Dresser-Rand. Must reside or be willing to relocate near one of the regional repair centers located in Horsham-Philadelphia, Cincinnati-Ohio or Chicago-Illinois with a preference on Horsham. Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred): Required * The legal authorization to work in the United States. * A minimum of 5 years related experience and knowledge. * Ability to travel 50% of the time if needed. Preferred * A minimum of a bachelors degree in an engineering discipline. * Advanced knowledge/experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook. * Strong organizational and leadership skills. Position Responsibilities and Duties: * Interface with the Finance department to maintain weekly activity reports for bookings, sales, quotes and new prospects. * Manages Project Managers/Engineers work levels and productivity by assigning field projects and tracking/measuring the utilization of the each Project Manager and Project Engineer and their field crews. * Ensures Project Managers/Engineers are properly trained to execute Field Solutions efficiently while promoting a safe working environment. * Prepares regional Monthly Operations Reports and forecasts including accomplishments, challenges & opportunities, market overviews and key initiatives. * Prepare financial forecasts via monthly bookings and sales reports. * Attend weekly sales and forecast meetings. * Manage and Determine asset utilization – including manpower, tools and vehicles. * Propose Capital Equipment Requests, Leased Equipment Requests and vehicle leasing for the Region. * Interface with clients to create viable solutions for their needs while driving DR bookings and sales growth along with profitability. * Promote Premier Customer Service throughout our workforce and client base. * Interface with internal and external customers, including DR entities * Service Promotes a safety first culture * Hiring of field crews as required – both union and non-union depending on the region and/or location. * Domestic (and international travel as required) approximately 50% of the time. * Manage a diverse workforce – Project Managers/Engineers, Field Service Reps, hourly non-union/union lead-men, mechanics and contractors (third parties) are typically required on projects. * Manages remote Project Managers and field crews in all areas throughout the Region. * Work sites can include refineries, chemical plants, pipeline stations, offshore platforms, power plants and remote locations * On-call and available 24 hours a day to respond to accessible clients needs. * Develop risk assessment on quotes Dresser-Rand is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer No agency submissions please.
