Position Overview/Summary:

Dresser-Rand Los Angles Repair center is a small fast paced team. We require our mechanics to work across a diversified range of D-R and Non nameplate equipment. As such a successful candidate will be a fast learner who is capable of work as both a team leader and a team member as required to meet the goals of the service center and client. This position requires a successful candidate to be capable of work day or night shift as the required by customer commitments. 
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

Required:
* Minimum of five (5) years of related industry experience required
* Journeyman Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanic
* The ability to routinely lift at least 25 pounds, as required to perform essential functions of the position, for up to eight hours
* The ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically, as required to perform essential functions of the position

Preferred:
* Gimpel Valve experience and or valve repair experience 
* Must be able to read and use measuring instruments accurately
* Must be detail oriented
* Must be able to read and follow blue prints
* Should be able to disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble
* Experience with reciprocating, centrifugal compressors and/or steam turbines is an asset
Position Responsibilities and Duties:

* Conduct a daily Behavioral Based Audit (BBA) and report any safety concerns observed
* Conduct mechanical overhauls and repairs of compressors, engines and other equipment
* Communicate and accurately report to Supervisor
* The willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours
* Maintain good customer relations and promote Dresser-Rand products and services
* Verify measurements of other Mechanics work to meet ISO requirements
* Attend and participate in all safety meetings
* Attend and participate in all toolbox meetings

Position Overview/Summary:

Provide technical and engineering support to Client Facing Team concerning revamp and upgrade opportunities involving reciprocating compressors, engines, turbo compressors and steam turbines.
Candidate must be able to work in a team selling environment with factory engineers and various Client Facing Team members (Product Development Manager, Business Development Manager, Account Manager) to close large capital revamp and upgrade orders.
 
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

Required:
* 
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the job offered or related position.
* 
Good organization and communication skills including time management, file and record organization and report writing.
* 
Aptitude for computer skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.  
* Ability to travel an estimated 25-30% of time away from base office into the Pacific Area territory and to other D-R facilities within the US  
Preferred:
* 
Application engineering experience with a proven background in using thermodynamic performance programs to select equipment for revamp applications.

Office to be based at or near one of the Pacific Area service centers (Los Angeles / Seattle) if possible.

Familiarity of upstream, mid stream and down stream petroleum, petrochemical and chemical processes.

Experience with client facing direct sales of aftermarket and new equipment solutions.





Position Responsibilities and Duties:

* 
Responsible for technical support and development of revamp and upgrade (Engineered Solutions) opportunities for reciprocating compressors &amp; engines, centrifugal &amp; axial compressors, expanders and steam turbines.
* 
Responsible for proactive development of revamp and upgrade proposals and act as liaison between D-R factory engineers and customer.
* 
Lead technical preparation of proposals and estimates involving the process selection of equipment revamps and upgrades.
* 
Visit customer sites to perform machinery audits and assume technical resource role with customers.
* 
Responsible for monitoring and updating D-R Client Relationship Management (CRM) software and providing accurate financial booking forecasts for Engineered Solutions team.
* 
Responsible for providing monthly activity, marketing and competitive information report to Engineered Solutions Sales Manager.
* 
Present technical and/or commercial presentations to customers.

Position Overview/Summary:

The Health, Safety and Environmental Manager will develop, implement and manage HS&amp;E policies, plans, procedures and processes to ensure the effective management of hazard identification, assessment of risk and implementation of controls.

This position may be based in our Chula Visa, CA (San Diego) or Rancho Dominguez (Los Angeles) facility. 
Position Qualifications (Required and Preferred):

* The legal authorization to work in the US
* A minimum of a Bachelors or Associates degree in Occupational Safety &amp; Health required.
* A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within a Field Service / engineering environment including offshore oil production, pipelines and refinery/chemical plants and machine shops.
* Demonstrated knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and its implementation
* Ability to travel up to 40% of time (domestic and international)
* Possess excellent organizational skills and be able to work well under pressure and to deadlines
* Work with minimum of supervision
* Ability to promote best practice on HS&amp;E management to achieve compliance within all areas of the business.

* Visit client projects/job sites and conduct behavioral audits of Field Service personnel and promote a Zero incident safety culture by motivating others, modeling the right example, intervening, engaging in discussion and convincing others.
* Audit, measure and ensure the effective implementation of the HSE Management System and assist in the planning for HS&amp;E continual improvement to achieve objectives and targets
* Assist project managers in preparation of comprehensive project/job HS&amp;E Plans.
* Serve as the HSE contact for Field Services Americas region for all matters related to HSE.
* Develop and facilitate training, safety meeting topics and safety notices for employees on issues related to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
* Assist supervisors with performing root cause analysis of all HSE incidents and assist in case management of reported injuries.
* Coordinate/facilitate monthly HSE-related meetings with Management/Service Center managers/supervisors.
* Manage/utilize the Company’s electronic record keeping databases, internal training database and other department electronic systems.
* Manage contractor Safety Supervisors supporting field projects.
